Say it Isn’t So Sir Malcolm!
The British Establishment has been rocked by fresh allegations of Influence peddling after Channel 4 and the London Daily Telegraph conducted a sting operation where they posed as the representatives of a fictitious “Chinese business interest” and met two Senior figures former Labour Foreign Secretary and Iraq war accomplice Jack Straw and the formidable Tory former Foreign and Defence Secretary and current Chair of the Intelligence Committee, Sir Malcolm Rifkind.
Well, the pro forma denials have been issued. But it is hard to see how they tally with what is on film.
“Rifkind reportedly claimed to be able to gain “useful access” to every British ambassador in the world. Journalists recorded him describing himself as self-employed, even though he earns a salary of £67,000 for being MP for Kensington: “I am self-employed – so nobody pays me a salary. I have to earn my income.” He said his usual fee for half a day’s work was “somewhere in the region of £5,000 to £8,000″.

Straw is about to leave politics but Rifkind is the Head of the Parliamentary Intelligence Committee that oversees British Intelligence Agencies.
Rifkind, astonishingly stated that he had no salary and no employer, apparently regarding his US $100 000 salary from the British taxpayer to represent the people of Kensington as both negligible and requiring no work for the constituents whatsoever on his part. Talk about an “entitlement mentality.”

Rifkind is undoubtedly a powerful individual and a formidable figure. Allegations have been made of his complicity in the cover up of the Westminster child abuse scandal, a reasonable assertion but not one for which it is clear that there is direct incontrovertible evidence.
Many perceive Rifkind to be the “grey eminence” of the British Intelligence Establishment. This description is from TruthNews (via the Coleman Experience.)
” Sir Malcolm Rifkind is chairman of the British parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC), which oversees MI5, MI6 and GCHQ – the most important position in the UK intelligence community. The ISC reports first to the prime minister, who retains – and uses – the right to censor material in ISC reports before parliament views them”. Rifkind is an arch Zionist, and a staunch advocate of the incipient police state. Rifkind was employed by the Military Contractor ArmorGroup who made millions of dollars in Iraq from British Government contracts. Rifkind’s cousin was the recently deceased protected child abuser Sir Leon Brittan. Sir Malcolm Rifkind is known to have lived at the Dolphin Square housing complex in Pimlico, London. Dolphin Square has very strong connections to British intelligence and is also understood to have been repeatedly used as a site for child abuse parties with elite guests apparently being entrapped and filmed by the intelligence agencies in order to “protect their future interests”.
This is a short description of Dolphin Square from the Daily Mail.
“The vast complex of 1,250 flats on a 7.5-acre plot close to the Thames was built in 1937 to provide homes for individuals its developers described as ‘notable in public life or society’.
Past tenants include the Far-Right political leader Oswald Mosley, Harold Wilson, Christine Keeler and Princess Anne, who (after moving out) allegedly claimed to be tired of ‘nosy neighbours, noisy traffic and the sight of hookers plying their trade nearby’.
By the late 1980s, it housed 51 MPs, 16 peers, 12 generals and six admirals. More recently, such noted Parliamentarians as William Hague, Alastair Darling, Malcolm Rifkind, Menzies Campbell and Mo Mowlam called it home.”
The abuse at Dolphin Square involved children trafficked from a children’s institution, Bryn Estyn in North Wales. This passage from the Coleman Experience details the evidence Scallywag magazine accumulated from speaking to a dozen witnesses/victims, ten of whom were prepared to make sworn statements.

“A notorious boy-brothel was in operation at the sordid address (Dolphin Square) and vulnerable boys were trafficked from care homes to satisfy VIP filth.”
According to the brilliant Scallywag paper:
” In the early nineties, in the now defunct Scallywag magazine, which I founded, we interviewed in some depth twelve former inmates at Bryn Estyn who had all been involved in the Wrexham paedophile ring, which the tribunal acknowledges existed. Most of these interviews were extremely harrowing and disturbing, but were gently and sensitively conducted over pub lunches where the victim could relax. We subsequently persuaded ten of them to make sworn affidavits which we proposed to use as back up to half a dozen paedophile stories we later published.”
” Two of these young men, who had been 14-years-old at the time, swore they had been not only introduced to the paedophile ring operating in the Crest Hotel in Wrexham but had later been escorted on three or four occasions to an address in Pimlico where they were further abused.
We took them separately to Pimlico and asked them to point out the building where this had taken place. They were both positive in their identification. It turned out to be the private flat of a well known, and since highly discredited lobbyist who later went into obscurity in some disgrace because of his involvement with Mohammed al-Fayed and the ‘cash for questions’ scandal. At the time we ran a story entitled ‘Boys for Questions’ and named several prominent members of the then Thatcher government. These allegations went to the very top of the Tory party, yet there was a curious and almost ominous lack of writs.”
It is entirely possible that Sir Malcolm Rifkind has no links to or knowledge of either the crimes of Leon Brittan his cousin, nor the other VIP child abusers of Dolphin Square and all the other sites that were used for the same purpose. Others have not perceived it that way and time will presumably reveal all.
Because the approaches were made by a Chinese company, I would suggest that Sir Malcolm’s presence inside the intelligence committee, let alone as it’s leader, is now completely untenable.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this sting was a targeted attack directed specifically at Rifkind and his destruction. This is an intelligence operation with the media groups acting as cut outs on their behalf. There is an overwhelming likelihood in my opinion that this has been organised by an opposing faction within British intelligence.
There are presumably hundreds of MP’s who might prove “vulnerable” to such approaches.The media people didn’t just stumble upon this accidentally in my opinion.
Jack Straw is perhaps the “straw man” there to make it look less obvious. It is pretty clear that someone has chosen to at least withhold assistance to Rifkind because GCHQ and other “monitoring’ agencies would have known this sting was underway, this would be of intense interest to them, which means they presumably had the opportunity to warn Rifkind of what was happening, but chose not to do so.
The evidence to support that claim will in all likelihood never emerge, Commentators on the Guardian are suggesting that Rifkind will be stripped of his honours, the Knighthood etc. It is looking grim for Sir Malcolm Rifkind.
Post script. Sir Malcolm Rifkind has resigned from his position on the Intelligence and Security Committee and will leave the House of Commons at the next election which is in the next several months. This is Sir Malcolm Rifkind’s statement regarding his decision.

None one of the current controversy with which I am associated is relevant to my work as chairman of the intelligence and security committee of parliament.
However, I have today informed my colleagues that while I will remain a member of the committee, I will step down from the chairmanship.
The committee is due to be dissolved in little over a month with the prorogation of parliament for the forthcoming general election. The main substantive work which needs to be completed will be the publication of our privacy and security report during March.
I do not want the work of the committee and the publication of the report to be, in any way, distracted or affected by controversy as to my personal position. I have concluded, therefore, that it is better that this important work should be presided over by a new chairman. “
