An Immense loss to those who are trying to learn and spread the truth.

On November 22nd 2015, American journalist and researcher Dave McGowan died of cancer. He was 55 years old.

McGowan provided quality commentary and research on a number of important issues but was perhaps best known for his work on the Moon landings.

Wagging the Moondoggie, Part 1

This probably explains the fact that McGowan’s death has largely been ignored, with a brief mention at Truth and Shadows and a piece at Memory Hole the only noteworthy mentions of his death alongside the conventional obituary that provides an outline of Dave McGowan’s life.

“A lifelong Angeleno, David was born in Torrance on March 25, 1960, and died at home in Eagle Rock on November 22, 2015. He graduated from Torrance High in 1978 and from UCLA in 1983. In addition to owning his own construction business, he was a courageous and brilliant investigative writer whose insightful work opened the eyes and minds of many. He is survived by daughters Alissa, Megan, and Shane McGowan, parents J. Robert and Shirley Griffith McGowan, and brothers Michael and Craig.”

This brief tribute  comes belatedly as I expected that many others, better acquainted with McGowan’s work would chime in on this loss.

I appreciated McGowan’s work a great deal although I have never researched the Moon landings in detail and cannot claim with any confidence that they never happened, it is clear that the footage of the landings was all faked and it is highly likely that McGowan was correct to state the whole thing was a fraud.

Like the Holocaust, the Moon landings are used as a weapon to discredit those who question the Official story of any event as being either mentally imbalanced and “beyond the pale” in the case of the Moon landings, or ethno-religious hatred in the case of the Holocaust.

McGowan did some of the best and most important work on the Boston bombings of 2013.

It was after this radio appearance on April 13th, 2015. that McGowan received a message that he should “watch out for cancer.” A week later he was diagnosed although it is entirely possible that these two things are not connected.

That work, along with his excellent 911 research and analysis, of 911, the Laurel Canyon intelligence driven music scene and so many other issues  created a proud legacy and set a fine example to others who would aspire to discover and share the truth.

The special thing about McGowan was the way he combined the hard headed approach of the professional journalist with the wild eyed freedom of the conspiracy researcher.

The Pedocracy.

Anyone in doubt as to the quality and versatility of McGowan’s writing need only read “the Pedocracy” McGowan’s little known but extremely high quality expose of the cover up of child abuse crimes and the blackmail networks that sit above them, he also produced a powerful account of the Finders cover up.

The Pedocracy is one of the best pieces of writing on the subject, right up there with “the Franklin Scandal” by Nick Bryant and it is a work that Google have chosen to exclude from their search results.

Even a search on the precise title and author provide results that at  best, contain links to McGowan’s piece.

Searches on Startpage were equally useless.

  1. I had no idea! Its like losing Bill Cooper. A real loss. I knew him from his work on pedophilia and mind control. I had no idea he did things on the fake moon landing. And I guts a present for ya, James. This just came out recently. Turns out that Jay Weidner had managed to get an interview with Stanley Kubrick in 1999, not long before his death, and Kubrick made Jay agree to terms. He could not release the interview till 15 years after Kubricks death, which was 99 and now its 2015 so now it is coming out. But Jay did put our two DVDs and I have them both, Kubrick’s Odyssey 1 & 2 and the new one:

    There are also great books and videos on Youtube that were on USA TV at one time. Not to mention websites I got on my hard drive somewhere. Te Odyssey DVDs might be on Youtube or parts of them. Kubrick left lots of hints in his Movies. And not just about the moon landings. I have waded into this deeply. No doubt about it. We never went to the moon and it was impossible due to radiation, anyway. And it is also why I am very skeptical about any video footage or pictures. It is dangerous to trust the eyes since video and film appear to show the world as it is, but so much can be faked on those mediums.

    Lets fact it, the world is nothing but lies, now. Have fun with these and we can be grateful that there are people like McGowan and Cooper and so many others whose shoulders we hijacked to get up here into the clouds. Hopefully, we will repay their labors with our own in behalf of others who might be receptive to all this before the final decision has to be made by every soul on earth. There will only be 2 choices. That makes it easy, right? No? 😀

    • Many thanks for that truth1now, I am downloading the Kubrick interview, I have watched Jay Weidner’s Shining analysis and I thought it was excellent.     • Many thanks for that comment, I will double check but I visited and linked to the “conventional” obituary at Legacy.com and it stated that David McGowan was born in 1960, making him 55 years in 2015. I will triple check and will change those details if I was in error.     • Thanks for that, typo has been fixed. Date of birth was 1960, death was 2015, 115-60 =55, the text was correct but the number was incorrect, a moronic error for which I apologise.

    • David passed away at the age of 55 years. on November 22, 2015 at 12:42 PM PDT. He had recently moved to Eagle Rock, CA but the never considered that to be home. It was only a transitions residence after losing his home in Sunland, CA to bank repossession. He was born March 25th, 1960 in Torrance CA.

    • All the links on this page go from davesweb.com (or similar, changes too fast to be sure) then swiftly to google search results for what appears to be dave AND web. Disappointing, as I’d like to buy Mr Mcgowan’s books in such a way as to most benefit his heirs. Please advise. Thanks.

  5. RIP, Dave! I didn’t know this until I read this article. My condolences to his loved ones. He was a brave and honest writer. Although I was already somewhat “awake”; he opened my eyes about many new topics and led me further down the rabbit-hole. He will be missed.

  6. I know McGowan from Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon. Although that book focuses on the psy-op shenanigans going on in American music in the 1960s, that single topic opens up EVERYTHING. His writing is lively, humorous, and meticulously researched to a standard that the journalistic profession has not held itself since – okay, I don’t know if it has EVER met this standard. When you read it, you begin to get that NO WAY would the music industry have once been purposely controlled for larger social ends, but hey, no longer. You also understand that the entire “entertainment” industry is under the same control. When this book started catching on – McGowan said he was floored by the response to it – I think his name was placed on a list. I hope I’m wrong. Either way, who will take his place? God bless his soul.

Dave’s work on the military and intelligence agencies weirdness connected to Laurel Canyon and the many rock stars (and even Manson) that were the children of those in the intelligence field was huge ! All of the LSD and other mind altering drugs along with the murders and unexpected deaths associated with the rockers at Laurel Canyon will blow your mind ! Thanks Dave !

    Update: While writing my recent book now on Amazon under my name: ‘Roswell was a False Flag: 70 Years Down a Rabbit Hole,’ I was reading some of Dave McGowan’s work due to Manson’s recent passing. I had been aware of his claims a few years back, and it took a few of those years for it to really sink in. I have now claimed that the Lookout Mountain secret studio was where besides the place the Tate “murder” scenes were produced/directed thru, but many many greater one like: doctoring the JFK assassination films, moon landing back-up shots, and “tata”—the Roswell dissection of Gray Aliens! Yes, another dimensional Time-traveling gravitic craft shot down a competing “Alien” ship, so that technology and a choice could be made by today’s Mankind as to to continue “downward” or Arise! But, CIA-types still kept it under cover. Too many on Laurel Canyon got wind of this & related, could NOT be trusted, so got suicided. So we continue to argue, make bombs & drugs, and throw mud at people like McGowan, and we get nowhere! ..Just where the Banksters & CIA-types want us, so they can continue to suck our blood, for profit, and strength! Yum-yum!
